- Trinidad High School Family and Comsumer Science Health Class
In this collaborative program volunteers from the Trinidad Ambulance Service will teach First Aid and CPR to THS Family and Consumer Science Health Classes in conjunction with teachers from Trinidad High School.
For several years this collaboration has enabled Trinidad High School to teach hundreds of students First Aid and CPR. Students gain confidence as well as learn how important it is to help others. Students will be trained and receive a card certifying their training and qualifying them to help others in need.
This grant will pay for the cost of the cards.
Approximately 50 students will be trained and certified in First Aid and CPR this spring semester.
This is a wonderful collaborative partnership with the Trinidad Ambulance District and Trinidad High School.
