Welcome to the Cabot Family Website
Cabotwellington.com (the “Family Website”) is an on-line portal administered by Cabot-Wellington, LLC that allows Cabot family members to access and share information relevant to the family and their family-wide entities. In it you will find (among other interesting things) a family directory where you can update and share your personal profile and in addition you will be able to display family photos and stories; research family and entity history; access geographical maps of interest; determine who is a current trustee, board member or manager of a family entity; locate reports, presentations, policies and other documents related to the family or its entities; search family entity calendars for meetings and events; get updates on family news and happenings; and link to the CW quarterly newsletter.
The purpose of the Family Website is to foster good family communication and family cohesiveness, to encourage teamwork and collaboration within the family. We hope you will enjoy the site and use it to enhance your relationships within the family. We ask that you use the site responsibly and be mindful that it is a tool for sharing family information, building strong relationships and creating trust. Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) before using the cabotwellington.com website (the “Family Website”) maintained by Cabot-Wellington, LLC (“us” or “they”) for the Cabot family. Your access to and use of the Family Website is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
These Terms apply to all visitors, family users and others who access or use the Family Website. By accessing or using the Family Website you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Family Website.
Accounts
When you create an account on the Family Website, we ask that you provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Some of the information on the site needs to be accurate in order to ensure 1. the integrity of the Family Website, 2. responsible use by only family members, and 3. compliance with local laws and regulations in your country of residence. If the Family Website cannot control the integrity and accuracy of the information, it will cease to serve its full purpose for the family so we reserve the right to condition your use and access to the site on good faith, best efforts by users to maintain the integrity of the information they share with the family.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Family Website and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Family Website or a third-party service.You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

The Family Website may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Family Website or CW, LLC. The Family Website has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that the Family Website shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the Family Website immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination, shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Family Website will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Family Website. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the Family Website, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Family Website.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 15 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the Family Website after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Family Website.
